Crockpot Beef Stew

Description
A great put-it-on-and-forget-it stew. Using V-8 will make it spicier than plain tomato juice.
Ingredients
- 1 lb stew meat or roast cut into cubes
- 5 potatoes, quartered
- 5 carrots, quartered
- 3 ribs celery, diced
- 2 onions, diced
- 2 T sugar
- 3 T quick cooking tapioca
- 1 c water
- 1 can V-8 or tomato juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Place meat & veggies in crock pot. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, sugar & tapioca. Pour water & V-8 over top. Still to mix. Bake on low for 7-8 hours.
