I want to make various crafts fashioned of sticks, such as a 1 1/2'-2' shoe box to set by front door to hold shoes when we come in, tissue boxes, etc. I have no idea, though, of how to make a mortor to hold these sticks together. I had hoped to be able to use this idea to create some x-mas gifts but time is running out and I can't find a natural mortor recipe. Help!

Shoe box

Are you using the like tongue depressor type sticks? If so, maybe Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. can help. Off the top of my head...no bad place there LOL My brother can do EVERYTHING, seriously!! He would have some ideas. Let me know if you are interested! Also, some crafts I did were a reindeer using the large sticks (ornaments) same with a snowman and a recipe card holder that hangs on the wall.
