Surgery Thursday

Tomorrow is DD's surgery. She has a cyst on her throat where an adam's apple would be if she were a man.

It is all a bit more complicated than we earlier believed, with concerns about bleeding, swelling that will shut her trachea, and post surgical infection risk.

So, if you are willing, whip out those prayers, candles and healing/soothing worried mama vibes for tomorrow at 12:15 East Coast time.

Quick Update

All went very well with the surgery and she was such a trouper they released her after just 16 hours of recovery!

Her throat is very sore from being intubated, but that will pass.
