24 weeks
I am 24 weeks pregnant as of last sunday (april 11th). I am starting to get a very cute little belly. My baby's name is going to be johnathan and i am scared to death that i'm not goign to be a very good mother. But i know i'll learn. I am going to quit working once the baby is born to be a full time mom. that also terrifies me. I've been working since i was 16. i have never gone more than a couple months without a job and i'm not sure i'll be a very good at being a full time mom.

Being a Stay at home mom has
Being a Stay at home mom has been so much fun for me. I too had started working at 16 (well, getting paid for it. I spent my early teen years laboring on my dad's farm). Until we had our first baby, I always worked, sometimes even two jobs. I've been at home now for 12 years next month. It's the most rewarding and hardest job I've ever done and love it. Of course, it doesn't come without slight twinges of guilt for not working, but when it comes down to it, doing it for the kid is the best thing for him.
I'm sure you'll do fine being a mom. hang around and if you need some advice just speak up! Someone is sure to chime in!

If you're worried about being a good mom
...you're already ahead of the curve.
Truly bad mothers never ask themselves if they're doing a good job. The shift to being a full-time mom can be hard for some women. Make sure to look for other new moms to hang out with; many places have them. And hang out here. There are some great women here, and a lot of good resources.
