Got the kids all registered for school yesterday. Forms times 4. Can't believe my baby gets to start preschool this year! He's so excited!! Got all my subbing and coaching paperwork turned in as well and am now on the sub list. There's only one other regular sub so I hope to get called in alot. We start school on Thursday (but DS3 won't start til next Monday). All supplies are bought (except DS6 needs PE shoes).
Need to work on some laundry, but don't know how much other flying I'll get done. Need to take DD12 to the school for volleyball carwash. It rained over by town last night, I'm thinking about taking the pickup out and doing some mudding and bringing it by for the girls to wash. LOL! I'm so evil!!!
I've been seeing some of you on Facebook lately but I thought I'd pop in here too! DH had a job interview on Monday. He's supposed to find out by Friday if he gets the job or not. If he gets the job, it means a steady income (he's been freelancing a while so spotty income and no benefits); but it also means a commuter marriage for a few months. We've moved to Atlanta with my parents, did I mention that? But the job is back in California. So DS and I would be with my parents for a few months while DH stays with relatives in CA, until we can save up enough to get our own apartment there again. But if he doesn't get the job, he'll just stay in Atlanta and apply for more jobs in different parts of the country.
Anyway. So that's what's been going on in my life. Also DS started preschool! And I haven't been feeling too well lately. Going to the doctor soon.
I am so busy these days, but I miss you all! I know some of you have left me messages on facebook, and I never get around to replying there, either.......bad person.
Not sure where you are all up to in the Story of Honey My lovely DS is now 18 and doing well in college. I am still working in a school with deaf children. I enjoy working with the kids but am not a fan of the school system, so I have mixed feelings. The children are wonderful though and my colleagues are a great bunch. I would rather work part time or stay at home/study so might work on that at some point.
Did I tell you about my man? I have been in a relationship now for a year with the most wonderful man I have ever met. He is just lovely and has changed my life so much. I am so happy
Thought of you all today as looking at my messy house had me thinking I need Flylady again! Not that I ever did it properly, but even my limited efforts helped a bit
